On Wednesday, the UNGA adopted a new resolution calling for the end of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by Washington on the Caribbean nation for six decades; the twenty-ninth time it has been approved since its first presentation in 1992.
The United States and Israel were the only countries which voted against the blockade this time, thus remaining isolated in the face of the demands of the majority of the international community.
