Ruak conveyed his ideas to Cuban Ambassador Omar L. Marrero Betancourt, whom he received in his residence.
During the cordial meeting, both Ruak and Marrero talked about the progress by the Cuban vaccine candidates and their future prospects, according to a press release from the Cuban Embassy in Dili.
Marrero took the opportunity to provide an update on the work being done by the doctors of the Cuban Medical Brigade that is working throughout Timor-Leste.
He ratified the Cuban health professionals’ will to cooperate jointly to fight the Covid-19 pandemic.
