According to Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, Moscow demanded that Pokotilo take the necessary actions to prevents such provocations before Russia’s Embassy and Consulate of Russia in Kiev.
She said that the Ukranian Government must create the conditions for the normal functioning and the inviolability of the Embassy and the General Consulate of Russia in Ukraine, as well as its employees.
A similar protest was presented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia on May 28.
Moscow described as just another serious provocation Ukraine’s violation of the 1961 Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations.
