The group arrived in a plane chartered by the US authorities, and handed over to officials of the General Directorate of Immigration, Drug Control, the Specialized Corps of Airport Security and Civil Aviation.
Upon arrival the airport, the ex-convicts underwent strict medical check-outs by the Migration and Public Health authorities before being transported from the airport in buses to take them to the headquarters of the General Directorate of Migration.
It emerged that with the group´s arrival the number of Dominicans ex-convicts deported by the US reached 555 this year.
