‘But the people have memory and will judge wisely. The coup perpetrators who endorsed massacres and corruption must answer for so much damage they caused to our brothers,’ added the former president on the social media.
Morales recalled among those people the secretary general of the OAS, Luis Almagro, who in 2019 fostered ‘the destabilization of Bolivian democracy by promoting an alleged fraud that was never proven.’
Every day the people witnessed that the de facto government, which claimed to fight for democracy, ‘in reality plundered, repressed, persecuted and massacred our brothers,’ Morales stressed in another message.
‘They seized power under the lie of fraud and used the Bible to kill and steal,’ he insisted.
Morales reacted against critical expressions by 2019 coup perpetrators against Murillo, after his arrest in the United States, after the FBI undisclosed a millionaire bribery and money laundering against the Bolivian State.
Those politicians who promoted or participated in the de facto regime of Jeanine Áñez issued numerous condemnations against the former government minister and their colleague in power, Morales recalled.
