Wednesday’s talk was focused on analyzing concrete actions to guarantee security and stability in the region, on the basis of what is laid down in the agreements signed among Armenia, Azerbaijan and Russia on November 9, 2020 and November 11, January, 2021.
The recent incident on Azerbaijan-Armenia border was addressed, stated the communique that warned about the provision of a settlement on political and diplomatic grounds.
The Russian side will continue to provide advice to reach an agreement between Yerevan and Baku and start the delimitation and demarcation process of the common state border.
Putin and Aliyev also talked about issues of the bilateral agenda, especially Azerbaijan’s gratitude for the continuous supply of Russia’s Covid-19 vaccines.
