Cuban president is congratulated on his birthday

Havana, Apr 20 (Prensa Latina) Vice President Salvador Valdes on Tuesday congratulated President Miguel Diaz-Canel on his 61st birthday and his election as First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC).

On his Twitter account, Valdes also wished Diaz-Canel success in the continuity of the Cuban Revolution.

On his part, Public Health Minister Jose Angel Portal congratulated the president for his birthday and ratified the sector’s commitment to the fight against Covid-19.

‘You must count on Cuban health workers to continue fighting #CubaPorLaVida along with our people,’ Portal tweeted.

Meanwhile, Johana Tablada, deputy director general of the United States Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MINREX), acknowledged the president’s work against the hostile policy against Cuba and internal problems.

‘The task has been hard but glorious if we advance to the rhythm of the heartbeat of our people who deserve only and nothing less than the victory over the soulless external aggression and our own obstacles and shortcomings,’ Tablada tweeted.
