After six days of stability in deaths and contagions with the pandemic caused by SARS-CoV-2, the CPCE report brought on Sunday good news: a notable decline in both.
The CPCE report refers to a cumulative of 4,429,269 cases, with 8,018 new patients reported in the last 24 hours in the sub-Saharan countries.
Regarding deaths, the situation is even more optimistic: 223 people died on Sunday, below the figures reported last week, which also remained below 300.
This panorama contrasts with that of the planet, where, according to official statistics, around 3,020,000 people died from causes related to the disease and 141,291,720 contracted the virus.
Although most of contagions overcome the disease, they generally suffer different sequelae for indefinite periods of time.
