The total number of confirmed cases in Cuba since March, 2020, rose to 84,532, and the death toll rose to 448, Dr. Francisco Duran, national director of Epidemiology at the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP), informed in his daily press briefing on television.
The expert added that 1,112 active patients are still in hospitals.
He explained that 21,180 real-time PCR tests were done across the country on Thursday in order to detect the coronavirus, so the number of samples taken since the outbreak of the pandemic totals 3,170,526.
