‘International community is our real adversary, not Jovenel Moïse. We have already got rid of him,’ Neney Cassy, former Senator, said in a press conference.
Cassy, member of the Popular and Democratic Sector, one of the most hostile platforms to current government, said negotiations will defend domestic interests and blamed Haiti´s supposed friends for blocking its development.
On the other hand, André Michel, spokesman for the structure that has recently led the anti-government protests, assured that the international community is the real head of President Moïse and ‘must remove him from the National Palace.’
‘We have to remove him (Moïse) as swiftly as possible. Every day he is ruling just makes misery increase in Haitian people,’ Michel said.
On Thursday, former Prime Minister Evans Paul told the press that both the Government and its counterpart lack the legitimacy to undertake the changes Haiti really needs to make.
