Poll in US Reveals Most Citizens Approve Work of Barack Obama
13 de diciembre de 2016, 16:34Washington, Dec 13 (Prensa Latina) Most of the US citizens approves the work made by President Barack Obama, shortly less than a month abefore the transfer of the power to Donald Trump, as a poll published Tuesday by press media reveals.
The poll showed that 55 percent of the consulted people, consider the results of the work done by Obama as positive, while 42 percent estimates they were not good results and 3 percent was insecure to talk about the role of the President now finishing his presidential mandate.
Despite all the bitter battles inside the Congress he had to face in the last 8 years, Obama receives a strong support by the citizens.
So it was said by Doctor Lee M. Miringoff, director of the Marist College for Public Opinion, an entity that made the poll, together with US newspaper chain McClatchy.
A similar investigation carried out last November, verified that the US President was counting on 51 percent of approval, and 44 percent of rejection in the electorate.
The producers of the survey reported that there were opposing opinions about how the history will judge Obama's work at the head of the Oval Office, since 18 percent of the participants in this poll made sure that he is one of the worst presidents of the United States and 16 percent thinks that Obama is between the best.
