Bolivia to Open III Students Special Education Games
La Paz, Oct 15 (Prensa Latina) Bolivian authorities confirmed that everything is ready to open today the III Plurinational Student Special Education Games President Evo in Sucre.
The opening ceremony will take place in the afternoon in the sports center of the constitutional capital of this Andean nation, where the competitions will take place until the next day 18.
We want to promote educational inclusion through the practice of sports of students with disabilities, noted the Deputy Minister of Alternative and Special Education, Noel Aguirre.
He explained that 180 athletes representing each of the country's nine departments, 20 school for each territory are already in the city to compete in two specialties: swimming and athletics.
Aguirre stressed that teachers will be organized by type of disability: visual, hearing, intellectual, physical and physical motor, in the male and female branches, between the ages of nine to 14 years and from 15 to 25 years.
He assured that travel expenses, lodging and meals will be covered with funds from the Education Ministry.
The first Games of this type were developed in the central city of Cochabamba in 2014, while last year they had Tarija, as venue, in the south of the country.
