National Cuba Solidarity Meeting Opens in Mexico
18 de marzo de 2017, 08:59Mexico, Mar 18 (Prensa Latina) The 22nd National Cuba Solidarity Meeting will open on Saturday at the Workers'' University in this capital to renew actions to support the Caribbean island and against the U.S. blockade.
The meeting will pay tribute to former President Fidel Castro, whose political thinking and legacy will be the main topic of a lecture by the philosopher and essayist Fernando Martinez Heredia, a full member of the Academy of Sciences of Cuba.
Che Guevara, ideology and action, will be the topic of another lecture by Aleida Guevara, the daughter of the Argentine-Cuba revolutionary fighter.
Mexico's Cuba Solidarity Movement (MMSC) will review its structure as a national organization and will approve an action plan with representatives from several states of the country.
